The week so far

This week was a little "meh." First, we lost our fixture this week against Hereworth and then we had to drive back 6 hours. The highlight of the bus ride was our dominoes pizza in Taupo.

We were walking around the park. It was a scorching hot day, and a bead of sweat dribbled down the side of my forehead. When out of the blue the ground rumbled and started shaking. A man in a blue jacket yelled as the ground split between him. The kids from the boarding house screamed and ran. Mr. Rees-Gibbs was frantically trying to gather everyone when disaster struck. A nearby tree fell and nearly crushed us. The sound of fear filled the air as even more people screamed. Mr. Rees-Gibbs did a head counted when he finished he went quiet. He broke the silence with two words; “Where is John.” What if I was in charge, would John be there?

The Trees    Silence filled the crisp air. The leaves rustled as if they were trying to get away from the tree. Birds fluttered around the tops of the trees. Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed something. The trees were slowly moving. I stumbled backward in surprise. Which drew their attention to me. One of them yelled out “hulabutha.” Every single one they turned and charged. At that point, I realized that I was either going to end up as flat Stanley 2 or die roasting over a giant wood pile. I ran and ran until finally, they caught me.

Tammy Abraham

Tammy Abraham has been stellar so far this season scoring an equal 4th place finish on goals and has steered us clear of the relegation zone.

what a week

Apart from Swansea's unexpected two-nil win over Huddersfield last weekend there were some fabulous results including Crystal palace's miraculous win over Chelsea. Man U and Liverpool's big match ended in a disappointing nil all draw. Juve's disappointing loss was at the hands of Lazio again. I'm not even going to mention the Barcelona's big day out in Madrid Which ended in failure for both teams. Messi and Salah's heroics made some news worth listening to. Chile and Wales' shock loses were very very sad. America's loss was horrifying and just the fact that Arjen Robben wasn't able to go out of the game in style was almost as bad America's world cup fate. Without further ado here is the meme of the day.

Let the Champions league begin

Image
The champion league officially began this morning. There were some great results and there were bad ones. The worst was Juve losing 3-0 to BARCELONA! Among the best were Man U's win over FC Basel. Chelsea had the days highest win taking it out in a 6-0 thrashing over Qarabag FK. Top scorers of the day were Felipe Pardo, Edison Cavani, and Lionel Messi who finally slotted his first goal against his archrival Gianluigi Buffon. Swansea will be facing a strong Tottenham side but not strong enough as they have only won one home game this season as they have only won one home game this season.

school work

Today I learnt how to calculate the volume of curved cylinders. I will try to do everything to the best of my ability. I can focus more especially in maths.
